Coming to the Workshop
Bus from Chambéry
Coming from the center of Chambéry or the train station is relatively easy: take the bus 9 toward "Plage". Beware the bus 9 also goes to "université Jacob", but this is another campus...
- If you are coming to get to a student room, you should get off at the stop called "La Traverse". This is the last stop on the campus. (See the map.)
- If you are coming to go directly to the workshop, you should get off at the stop called "Université le Bourget". The room "4-Cantons" is just next to it. (See the map.)

Train to Chambéry
The easiest way to come is probably by train: the train station is called "Chambéry Challes les Eaux". (Frequent trains to/from Lyon or Grenoble, some direct trains to/from Paris.)
Driving
Find your way to le Bourget du Lac. It is relatively straightforward...
Flying
There is a tiny airport in Chambéry, but it is probably easier to fly through Lyon or Geneva. (Grenoble or Torino are also possible.)

Other Hotels close to the Workshop
There is the possibility to ask for a "CROUS" student room. This is nice for students with a tight budget or people who don't care about high standards and want to stay on the campus.
For people who want to get a room in a more traditional hotel, we usually recommend the following:
- the Week end hotel. This is a nice hotel close to the campus, but outside Chambéry. The hotel is in a really nice area, but if you don't have a car or a bike, you may have to walk to the campus (15 minutes).
- the Résidence Curial, next to the historical center of Chambéry. You have a room with basic facilities to take care of you breakfast and meals. You have to catch a bus to the campus.
- the Art hotel, in the center of Chambéry, just next to the train station. You have to catch a bus to the campus.
